v 0.1 is up at the Lemur userlib:

http://liine.net/en/community/user-library/view/445/

I need some assistance. Can someone with a 2500 test if the template works? Unsure if I managed to save the MIDI mapping on the OSXL end in a recallable format..

Also, If someone has the energy to make a config file for the MPC 1000 users out there, please PM me so I can include it in the package. I only have a 2500 so can't do it by myself :p If you need help in sussing out the mappings, let me know.

Sorry it took longer than said it would. There is still a lot of room for improvement with this one, but it's a start. I'd say right now, only the =A= page is cosmetically where I want it. Might need to readjust the BR roll slider's size too - it's a bit too small ATM (?)

Cheers

If you have a lot of MIDI gear, lemur might be a good investment. It's actually very easy to use for creating simple MIDI controls, like knobs, buttons, switches and sliders. Only when you want to get into scripting logic or sequencer functions things get more complicated..

Thanks for posting this. I am working on the MPC 1000 JJ OS 3 version. I will try to have it up for download this weekend. Question: is your MPC 2500 version for JJOS2XL or OS 3. They both allow midi control but just wondering. Also I cannot find the way to map the mixer and track levels. Looking at the manual OS2XL allows for Pan and level of a mixer to be controlled by a MIDI controller and OS 128 does in the big screen but i don't see the option for this in OS3 on the smaller screen. Anyone know if this is possible? If not i will go back to OS 2XL to finish the Lemur template for 1000 users. Thanks

Hi,

as the template name implies, it is meant to be used with OSXL, not OS3. I am not considering OS3 at this point as the OS is still somewhat buggy.

I would greatly appreciate if you could send me a MIDI mapping config file for the MPC1000, so that I could include one in the package. Also, the Q3 and Q4 controls should be removed for MPC1000 users since they are not supported in the hardware - will make a template mod for the 1K as soon as I have the config file.

BTW - has anyone noticed their MPC "glitching" during track volume adjustments? It is possible that Lemur sends too much CC data for the MPC to handle, might need to implement MIDI CC data thinning onto the template..

yep, sometimes is glitching on normal knob controller if movements are fast, on low freq samples but when it plays back I don't recall it happens. I remember level was always glitching even when send from q-link on internal mpc's mixer.

I need a MPC1000.SYS file with MIDI notes and CC set up to recieve the corresponding MIDI commands from the Lemur template. The exact MIDI note numbers, MIDI channels and CC numbers can be found from the txt file in the package. It would make using the template for new MPC1K users more hassle-free as they wouldn't have to manually make the assignments on the MPC end.

There's already a sys file for the MPC2500 in the package, which contains the MIDI mappings for the MPC2500. I just need a similar one for the MPC1000 and can't do it without access to an MPC1000..

Oh yeah, one needs to enable MIDI control of the track mixer and CC control on the pad mixer as well! If you could also include these settings in the sys file it'd be great :)

Cheers
