I recently upgraded from JJOS Free to OS2XL. Finding it great so far but I hit what might be a bug or a setting I am not aware or (that or I am imagining things). I recorded a two bar beat with quantising off, then if I go to record mode and put the beat playing so that I can record in a bass line that I am playing along with the beat, I could swear the beat I recorded sounds wrong. It sounds as if it is quantised even though I recorded it without quantise and did not touch the settings before going to record mode.
The only thing that makes me doubt myself is that a different beat I recorded sounds the same when in record mode.
So either there is an issue I am missing, or having the beat playing in record mode is making me extra aware of the timing and I am noticing the natural errors in my own timing.
Anyone else come across this?
