Saving Issues

I'm a noob running jjos 3.16 on an mpc 1000 I just bought from a co-worker. I plan to reformat and upgrade to jjos2xl but until then I've been learning the machine. I just lost an awesome jam because the save methods I tried didn't work, and I'm not sure if it's user error or the system I'm working with.

I tried to save everything by creating a new folder and using the save entire memory feature. It went through the process and it seems like everything loaded fine. I also saved the program/sequence to be safe. Unfortunately when I rebooted the MPC, the folders were there but empty, nothing saved. I've been searching and reading but I can't seem to figure this out

I wish that was the case! I checked all folders and didn't find anything. It's weird because when I saved it, it went through the process so I thought for sure it worked
