I've noticed that none of my sotware editors will write Key Number to wav files so that MPC1000 (JJ 2XL) will read it correctly. This is useful when working with INSTR files but all Key Note data is reset to 60 in the wav files I load into MPC1000.
In JJ it's called "Original" in the sample list that's shown when selecting a sample and pressing Window in Program mode. It will affect playback pitch. If set correctly no retuning is needed.

Strangely enough most edtors will read the Key Number data that MPC1000 writes but it's ruined if changed in the external editor.

I get this bad behavior from all of my editors related to samples:
Logic/EXS24
DSP Quattro
AFE LoopEditor
Awave (under Windows using Virtual Box)

Is there any editor that can handle this correctly?
