Q-link slider used to record: effecting the next sequence.

When I use the q-link slider to change the filter over the drums in real time (on sequence 1), the next sequence is effected and is at the same filter setting that I left on the last sequence. I don't want the next sequence to have any filter applied by the q-link slider. Anyone know how to solve this? THANK YOU!!

I fixed it. just read over the manual once more...and made sure to reset the q-link settings and make sure the AFTER LED was lit.

Also made sure that it was NOTE ON and not REAL TIME.
