Hey guys.
New to the mpc realm. I installed jjos free and now on start up the lcd screen dims alot. Is this normal or can i change seting of anything.

This can happen especially if you have a third party screen. You can adjust the screen contrast by holding down STOP and turning the data wheel - this should be remembered for subsequent boot ups but might need re-doing if you ever update the firmware.
On some MPCs you might also need to adjust the data wheel sensitivity - if turning the data wheel seems slow and unresponsive, go to the OTHER screen and select the other data wheel type (1 or 2).
