I've got an 8gb myself, and have heard rumors of 16gb working, but haven't tried it myself. The HD can go up to 120gb from my understanding, so it should be able to handle CF cards up to that size as well.

I using MPC 2500 and Kingston 256MB SoDimm and running JJOS-XL 3.52.. my question is what are the list of CF card works with this ? I remember i purched huge gig CF card and did not work, because i did not undersrand the power of analog. I currently using 2gig transcend and i want to buy 4gig ...or if its possible 8gig. Please help...

You can scour the BIG THREAD in the MPC 1000 area for multiple mostly outdated opinions. The largest single CF card I've been able to make work is this Komputer Bay 32 GB one, which works absolutely well:

Or, you can also go lunatic mode like I did and look into this CF -> SD -> MicroSD combination which as of the current year appears to work:
