Reviews and questions about the entry-level MPC500

While editing the start/end points in trim mode, is it at all possible to raise or lower the samples values in specific increments, such as milliseconds for example?

Just to expand... Of course in trim mode the 500 measures the length of a sample in "samples". So 1 millisecond = 44 samples, 10 milliseconds = 441 samples, 100 milliseconds = 4410 samples and 1 second = 44,100 samples.

Is it possible to have it so that each turn of the data wheel will increase or decrease the value by 1 millisecond or 44 samples, rather than by 1 sample or 10 samples or 100 samples etc. as it does as the default?

Thanks

Thanks for replying mate,

I discovered using the shift button with arrows, however that only allows you to change samples by 1,10,100,1000 etc.

I would like to change them by 44 samples, so each jog wheel turn changes the sample value by 44 which equals 1 millisecond.

Is this possible, haven't been able to find a way.

Cheers bud
