PLEASE HELP Samples cutting out

Hi guys
Been messing around with the mpc 500 over the last few months and the other day something wierd happened ...
loaded a folder with some samples and some are being cut short when set to a pad

- they play in full on computer and on mpc when you press play on load menu
- one of the samples that works is the longest one
- even tried resampling some to no avail

Its only when i set them to a pad they are being cut short
Any help would be amazing

Strange. I have no idea what could cause ti, but did you try to create the program externally? (e.g. in MPCMaid)

Also, make sure that your wavs are in a 16bit 44.1khz format.

in trim mode, check the end points, try to move the end points to the right, all i can think is maybe you saved them after messing with the end point.

Check your Program's setting to see if mute groups are on as well and other settings like delay.

try pressing mode then program(pad 6) then scroll through program until it says mute group and put mute group on OFF for all samples being cut off. Hope this helps
