Reviews and questions about the entry-level MPC500

Hey Folks,
I ran into a weird problem with my MPC.
I set up my MPC 500 as the master and connected the OP-1 (in normal OP-1 mode -> NOT controller mode) to the midi in via the Kenton USB midi Host. So far so good - there’s a synth connected to the midi out and everything works perfectly for a couple of minutes. I can play / record midi data on the MPC and it sends the data on the synth. After letting the setup sit for a while - the MPC won’t recognize incoming data anymore and only sends C2 Note off Message out - no matter what (as clock etc). My guess is that the Kenton messes up the MPC Midi because this happens, even when there is nothing connected to the Kenton. When I turn the MPC off and on again it works again for a while...ahhhh :(

Has anyone running his MPC successfully with a Kenton USB midi host on the midi in :worthy:
