Anybody Going To Get The MPC 500

i guess the weight factor is cool - 1/3 the weight of 1k - lets see some pics of it in the studio - i wanna see the size comparison to the 1k. good luck and let me know how well it works to all the 500 users.

Novamusik...but it was because they felt bad about a previous order. They offered me the MicroX for $575 as well...so I took them up on the offer.

I actually got my 1000 for $600... and my 500 for $675... what do you think of that?

Good for you. I wouldn't have paid more than $400 for a 1000 personally. I guess you had money to burn like that

Naw.....I am waiting to drop $3,500 on the MPC 3500 or whatever they will call it The MPC 2500 is cool but it takes some of the taste out of my mouth being that it is more of an MPC 1000/2000XL replacement vs an MPC 3000 replacement. I need a real MPC 3000 replacement (or even a 4000 replacement), they should give it a deserving numeral..MPC 3500...MPC 4500.....MPC 5000...or hell..no number at all....the ALL NEW AKAI MPM...MUSIC PRODUCTION MASTER...

What do you need that your two machines aren't giving you? Why not the 4000 ( ) ?

Why not the MPC 4000? Just ask MPC 4000 owners in the forum

But for real...I prefer these more traditional MPCs. Simple..to the point..turn it on and its ready to go. The MPC 4000 was Akai's first shot a packing as much as they can into an MPC. I would mos def like a crack at their next monster..just because its new and something that would surpass the power of the MPC 4000. Then I would be able to tease MPC 4000 forum members/users for a year due to their unhappiness with their unfinished product

Oh...and I did own an MPC 4000. I went from an MPC 3000 to a 4000 and back to an MPC 3000.

Just picked up my 500!!!1..........................Awesome product.Very small.Does not seem fragile............More soon....


Oh yeah comes with a 128MB CF card.
