So you now have a blank, sample free template of a seq/pgm autoloading from the CF card ?

If so, fantastic :) Care to share your steps ? ;)

I loaded up a blank seq/prgm that I saved from my 2500
things are set a little more to my liking in the 2500.

after a loaded up this file I just followed the exact instructions in the manual found on page 95 under'Creating the autoload folder'

As far as step goes, did you want to know something other than that?

could you share your blank 2500 preset with non-2500-owners to do that, Upright?

Sure no problem, here you go. :D

Load up both files to your mpc then save them in an autoload folder has described on page 95 in the mpc 500 manual.

after you load these files to your 500 all tracks should say 'unused' and all pads velocity should be at 100 instead of 70.

Just something I noticed today that could be improved:

If you load a mono program, that is play type:mono from the 2500 to the 500, the data associated with the program that makes the program mono does not transfer to the 500.

So what I'm saying here is that when you have a program in the 2500 set to play type:monothe samples have certain characteristics, for example all samples mute each other without any mute groups being turned on, and all samples are mono not poly(even though the sample may say poly) These characteristics do not transfer to the 500 even though they are part of the program. :D
