MPC 5000 + Moog Sub 37. Synth Resets to Max Volume

Hope someone can help with this it's driving me crazy and doesn't happen with my other synth.

Any time stop then play is presses, or a sequence switches to another sequence in main or song mode, my synth is reset to max volume regardless of where the volume knob is.

I've tried disabling program changes on the synth but no dice.

Any idea how to stop this via a setting on either piece of gear?

I've experienced this many times, the MPC will override any external synths volume so you simply have to set it via the midi track volume in the MPC mixer, hope this helps.
