Got a input transformer problem... Praying i can get advice here! :-D

I'm simply trying to get midi tracks in cubase to corrospond to incomming Midi channels. The way you do this apparently is by setting the input transformer to pass only the channels you select. Its the squiggly line on the top right of the input inspector of a midi track. Heres the scenario...

Cubase 5 - input transformer\Local\(preset) Channel Filtering\ pass ch
The list shows Pass ch 02, 03, 07, 09, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15 , 16,

BUT>>> Do you notice something???

There is no ch1, ch4, CH6, or ch8 listed! ARRGGHHHHH!!!!!
Even if i open a brand new Project started from Scratch though! STILL - Same thing!!! I cant figure out why when i open a new project those channels dont come back!!! I use a Midex 8, could that possibly have something to do with it?

I cannot figure out why it only lists 12 of the 16 channels!!!
Could i possibly have done something that removes certain channels? I mean, I need CH 1 to be there man! Possibly when i was trying to figure out how to filter different channels for each track while trying to figure this Transformer thing out i somehow accidentally erased certain tracks? I cannot figure this out! Please people drop some knowledge on me! Thanks!
