finally conceded to getting ableton to track my beats onto the laptop. followed a few youtube videos to sync my mpc2500 (master) via midi through my soundcard to ableton (slave) and everything seems connected properly and im reciviving signal in but i dont seem to be able to record so i assume its wrong lol. heres a pic of my midi settings in preferences, some stuff seems to be missing compared to tutorials ive been watching, any idea??
