The renaissance and Yosemite advice

Hi all

I am about to buy the Ren (next couple of days hopefully) but have a question for you all......

I have a imac 27inch
3.4 Ghz Intel Core i7
32 GB Ram running 10.10.2 (YOSEMITE)
I have spoke to Akai in the UK and they say that the ren will run no problem but i have read quite a few threads here and other places that say they are having problems with Yosemite and the Ren

Any thoughts people ?

One of my systems is running Yosemite and the MPC Studio is running perfectly on that.

I haven't experienced any issues - not really pushing the software too hard (don't use VSTs). But your system specs look pretty good - can't imagine you'd have any issues.

i have the same exact setup as you and i have no major issues. i mean aside from the typical ren crashes but its def usable.

I know this is OT, but music-software-wise, are there any major no-gos left regarding Yosemite? Mainly looking at major DAWs, common plugins etc.

PT always a pain in the ass but dependent on version etc

my pro tools 10 does not work with yosemite. the drop down arrows to put inserts in is glitchy and i cannot access my plugins. hoping for a fix soon but haven't tried uninstalling and starting over yet. hoping that does the trick.

I'm using Yosemite on a 2011 MacBook Pro.
In 1.8.2 If I use AU plugins the settings don't save. If I use VSTs the plugin GUI gets messed up.
