Sup Guys,

I just hooked up my Ren to my Logitech Z-5500 speakers with the S/PDIF output.
The quality is NICE! butttttttt

When there is no signal, the audio interface is silent/shuts down...so when i tap a pad...the first two taps are still silent before the interface send/receives the signal and i hear something.
When i want to record something, i dont hear the Metronome because the silents between the ticks are to long....

Is there any way to make the MPC S/PDIF output always send out an signal, so that my setup stays active?

Cheers,
Mitch.

Are you sure it's not the speakers turning off? The SPDIF output should always be on and able to output audio at a moments notice.

Thanks for the replies...
I changed some things in the settings...and it works now....

I went into the Asio settings and put it on other measures...now it does work...dont know if that was the problem but hey.....it works :)

Thousands of Renaissances have your very same issue. But your Logitechs aren't the problem, they do it anytime they want.
Check posts on the issue if you don't believe it.
Peace.
