Thanks for this! Downloaded and in my iBooks pdf library already. All the good info.

Ticks all the boxes for me from reading that information. If they have implemented it to be functional on all those features, I'm definitely grabbing one of them.

Is there any timestrech option for 16 levels pitch or instrument programs etc. Like if I wanna use a sample and play it chromatically can I make it so all notes are the same length. Like the korg Microsampler has the option for. And ableton etc.. Without having to resample and make a Keygroup. Which would be a ballache workaround if I'm just auditioninb sounds/ideas...

Whoah whoah whoahhhh..... hold on.

I turn my back for a few hours, and THIS is confirmed!?! This is huge. I was hearing from all sides that NO softsynths / plugins would be playable on the Live in standalone. So, if Hybrid / Loom etc. are out of the box, that means juicier FX plugins may be on board... ?

What are the chances of that? Like a deep reverb or delay?

Whoa, hold on - before incorrect rumours hit the internet, this is the list of instruments and effects that come with the purchase of the Live/X. There's no mention of these being available in standalone mode, at this point I would assume that they are only available to install in the computer version of the MPC Software.

I'd like to think that they spent a bit of time porting the Air effects over to standalone mode, and at least Hybrid 3, but there's been no specific mention of this, so I would assume at this point that it hasn't happened.

Simon Bangs has been posting on my facebook page this morning, so while I have his attention I've asked him if he can confirm what's available in standalone mode.

Damn.

Then it's more accurate to say:

"Okay, so here's the plugins/effects included in the 2.0 Software (which comes w/ both new units):"

Okay since right now the new products are almost released and ready to go I would like to repeat my question from last year (Last year Dan couldn't answer it yet)

Since MPC software is a DAW right now, is there a delay compensation implemented? Thus does it compensate the delay caused by plugins with latency?

I think this is a very important issue if you want to make full productions in MPC 2.0 since there are some amazing plugins that we love that have latency.

Pete has tweeted that 2.0 isn't quite finished yet, so maybe that's what's not finished yet.

Thanks for that info, that explains it.
