Losing quality when sampling from vinyl.

Anyone know why when i sample straight into my ren from vinyl i lose sound quality?

Play the record.. sounds fine... when i play back on the mpc it sounds like a lower bit rate or something.

When i record into logic using the mpc as an input the sample is fine.

are there some settings on the ren that could be causing this issue, or is this normal?

edit: seems to happen to anything i record into the mpc from any input, not just vinyl.

Maybe make sure Monitor is OFF when you record from turntable?

Noticing the same problem. Thought it was possibly a problem with my interphase. Originally noticed the problem when recording system audio in. Has anyone figured this out?

sounds like you need to figure out your record gain, and direct monitor knobs.

Same rca cables? when recording the different routes?
