Hi all,

I'm thinking about picking up a MPX8 for it's portablilty and ease of use. Do you know if it's possible to select a pad without triggering it? Say you have a sample looping, then triggering a different pad, how do you select the pad with the looped sample without retriggering it? Also, is the midi chanel fixed for all pads, or can each pad output a different midi chanel?

Thanks

Wrong forum.

MPX 8 is only a sample player meaning you load samples from USB or SD card, might want to look into the MPX 16 which is a sampler and not only loads samples via USB/SD but you can record samples in through the 1/4" inputs.

But both units are basic samplers and are made to trigger samples but thats about it, no sequencer to put samples in to build tracks.

Perhaps you should look into the MPC line for your questions because all MPX do is trigger samples from the pads.
