Touch cancels audio on computer

Hi

As soon as I power up the whole computer goes silent. I'm on Windows 10, the computer is brand new as is the Touch. I've installed the MPC software and I can see the signal is getting through it's just that no audio is coming out, no system sounds, no sound from a tutorial video clip - nothing. Any ideas would be welcome - thanks in advance.

Have you verified your audio interface settings are set correctly for windows and the MPC software?

when you plug in windows auto sets the touch as your computer audio driver output just switch it back

You have to plug your outs in the MPC no matter if they are speakers or a pair of headphones,now the touch acts like an audio interface as it has one integrated.
