Sampling into mpc studio black with old turntable

Annoying little process im going through

Usually i was sampling via usb turntable right into my macbook no problem

But i wanted to use an old turntable i have, it doesnt have a pre amp, no idea how this would be possible, because even if i got a preamp, the preamp couldnt go into the macbook air m1 without going through some analog to digital converter, after the preamp

The only way i feel like its possible is - turntable into phono preamp, to converter, then converter into macbook via usb…

This just seems wrong to me but maybe its the only way its possible?

You can get a USB phono pre-amp relatively cheap. Behringer has one that's sub-$50......

Its usb functionality is just to provide power dude. The outs are still rca

So after that preamp then what? Thats my issue

I cant go out of that preamp into my usb c without it going into an audio to digital converter.

My question was how to go out of the phono preamp into my usb c on my mac

Use an interface for it.
