MPC Studio v1.6
Mac OS 10.8.2
Reaper v4.6

Using soundflower for multiple outs on the MPC software is it possible to MIDI sync the MPC Software with reaper for recording ?

Similar as MPC 2000xl with MIDI Sync so the software triggers the MPC ?

Tried multiple options, must be missing something small Im guessing.

Any help would be great, thanks.

Read those articles. They explain how iac driver works and how to setup. Basically you are using the iac driver like you would use soundflower but the iac driver only uses midi(virtual midi cables between apps) IT creates a virtual midi port/device ie.. lets say you create a port/device called "poopmidi" in the iac driver, now in every music program that uses midi, you can choose a "poopmidi in" and "poopmidiout" .

If you want the mpc to send midi to reaper, you would set the mpc to use pooopmidiout..

And in reaper, you would use poopmidiin as a input.

This applies to anything midi.. (syncing transport control ...etc)
