Hi there,
I'm new to the forum and hope to find an answer on here. I've been searching everywhere and tried all settings but to no avail.
In some projects I'd like to use the MPK25 as a MIDI interface for an external synth. It's an old Roland XP10. The reason is that I want to record MIDI tracks with both hands and need the whole 5 octave range.
I hooked it up as I would with a USB MIDI interface, XP10 MIDI out to MPK MIDI in but the MIDI signal doesn't get through to Logic or Cubase.
I was assuming everything that goes into MPK's MIDI in is transmitted to the computer through USB but I can't get it to work. Do I need any additional MIDI routing software for the MPK?
My setup is Mac Pro 2009, OSX 10.6.8, Logic 9 and Cubase 5.
