Any issues with Akai MPDs and USB3?

I'm thinking of getting one of the new macs but they all come with only the new USB3. Now, I know its meant to be backwards compatible so that all your USB2 devices will work on USB3 but have heard reports that there are definitely some issues with some audio devices - controllers and soundcards.

Fingers crossed should be fine with my MPD (have got an MPD26 + MPD 24) but just wondering if anyone had any issues before I make a purchase?

I use a 18 with usb 3 on my windows laptop with no problems at all

No problems with USB3 with my MPD26 on Mac either
