I want to use the MPC 1000 (2x midi in + 2x midi out) to sequence my songs. I currently have an Alesis VI25 MIDI Keyboard that has 1x MIDI Out and an EMU Proteus 2000 (1x midi in + 1x midi out + 1x midi thru)
I want to implement a Waldorf Blofeld Desktop, which only has 1x midi in.
Is there a way that I can control/playback both the Proteus 2000 and the Blofeld, using my single VI25 keyboard?
Also, how would I get the information from both, into the MPC 1000 to be sequenced?
