[Bug] Editing duration in Step Edit Mode

MPC 2500 JJOSXL 3.20

I found several bugs in Step Edit Mode involving editing note duration:

1. Load a drum kit
2. Record a sequence
3. Enter Step Edit Mode; Press F2[Hold]
4. Set duration of all events to 20 **For testing repro purposes**
5. Highlight the duration of any event
6. Press Play Start
7. Adjust the duration of the event.
8. Press Stop
9. Repeat steps 5-8 repeatedly

Results -
1. Editing duration of an event will actually edit the duration of a preceding event.

or

2. Editing duration of an event may not update its new value immediately. When this occurs, stop the sequence. Then turn the data 1 or 2 clicks. The duration will suddenly jump to a higher value

Expected -
Adjusting the duration of an event should not impact any other event. The changes to the duration should update immediately; there should be no lag/delay.

Not for MPC 1000 it seems as i tried to reproduce it and no go. Of course the fact you do not mention HOLD at all. You can not high light an event and see it when you hit play unless you hit hold. And as soon as you change parameter it goes into record state. You do not mention any of this at all?? So no not able to reproduce this on my machine.

Try testing using a 2500....Running 3.20
