Audio track delay

I loaded up the free JJ OS wishing to use the audio track record feature. Every time i record on an audio track (from analog in) the playback is delayed. Looking at the sample trim i can see there is a blank section at the start. Having to edit and trim every time i do a retake would render this 'audio track' feature absolutely useless. Anyone know why this is happening.

For your info: that's the way it is, inconsistent delay with JJ audiotracks.

No they are not useless and indeed a lot of us use them with good profit, sometimes you have to re-trim the takes, sometimes they fit.

You said you can see the 'empty space' before the waveform start... so where's the issue?
