ERASE in main screen or grid edit

Hello all,

Something that I find pretty boring with the ERASE function (even more now with the grid in main screen) is the fact that it always returns to bar 1 after DO IT.
Annoying when you want to delete something at bar 54 and check immediatly for instance.

Personnaly I would appreciate if it would stay at the same sequencer position. I know in grid edit it's possible to use a workaround with the delete function but it's not 100% the same thing.

What do you think? Do you think it could be worth doing a feature request for this?
I think it's a traditionnal behavior of the MPC, I checked in OS1 and it was the same. I didn't check in AKAI OS or other JJ OS versions though.

Yes that makes sense. It's easy to go to the start of the sequence if you want to using the transport buttons, but it's a hassle to go back to where you were in long sequences (like you gave in your example).

i just hit over dub and use scroll wheel to scrub in track and that way it stays where i want and can erase stuff. Kinda helps that way.
