I ask myself; what kind of programming is performed, to affect the sequence 99, and not others. IMHO, this kind of bugs are human nature.

Yeah. Recently we have less bug fixes because we don't have new functions added anymore

for some obscure (to me) reasons i cant install os3.127, my 2500 cant read the file.

also for been sure i tried to install osxl with no problems...

The downloaded file may be corrupt. Try downloading again...

i can dowload the file and install it into the cf card, when i press "DO IT" it appears in black "Not MPC2500 file !!"

yo even tried to restart my computer and download again the file, unfortunately i got the same "not MPC2500 os file !!"

maybe he upload the wrong file i guess, can someone else check it out?

i installed every jjos without problems into my 2500, except for os3...

also i tried the free jjos and after the flash writing was done i switched off the unit.

when i turned it back on the screen was stuck at "mpc 2500", the os was freezing (i guess) and the cd player did a weird noise all the time...

i was lucky because i discovered accidentally that you can update the flash rom without firing up the os, it works just with the 128 mb akai compact flash card.
tried with some sandisk and kingstone but appeared only the writing "wrong cf card".

so luckily the guy that sold me the 2500 gave me the original cf card as well, which i tough was useless but decided to keep it anyway...


sooooooooooooo, can someone tell me how to tell to jj about os3 not working and free jjos freezing up 2500's?

yo the file seemed to the broken, so jj send me a good one, he told me he replaced the file on his website as well.

strange no one noticed...am i the only one on os3?

are you guys all on osXL?


p.s tried to install jjos free 3.13 again and this time i succeed, not really understood why the first time my 2500 bricked...i guess i something can happen sometimes...

Did you update the FREE JJOS as instructed to the latest version? You have to do this for XL and OS3

i did it, i boot up jjos free 3.13 a second time and after osxl 3.46.
after that tried with os3 1.27 but my 2500 could not read the file...

some time later jj send me another file saying the one on the site was broken.

booted up the new one from osxl 3.46 with not problems so i guess the file on jjos site was really broken.

plus i forgot to mention that previously i was using os3 1.26, theres no reason my 2500 wont load up os3 1.27 from os3 1.26.

From reading all the bug fixes it suggest that the code is a nightmare of tangled, improperly decoupled shit. I don't think jj can program very well.
