[REQUEST] Looper enhancements

Hello everyone!

I have MPC1000 with XLCD and JJ OS128XL.
Love jamming with it and my bass guitar, therefore it would be great to see the full looper functionality in mpc just like Boss RC-2 works.

The main points are:

Continue to play all tracks after entering looping function

Choose to record audio input or main out

Use pedals to swith to overdub and play modes

Continue to play all tracks after quitting looping function

The limitations of existing looper realisation make it totally unusefull. Please bring it to mind.

Is it even possible to develop such functionality as the one I'm asking for in JJOS 128XL?
Please, show any reaction, I start to thing that the forum is dead.

The only person who can answer this is JJ, however unfortunately he never posts here but he does read all the suggestions. You could try contacting him directly via the email address provided when you purchased JJOS128XL.

it's dead. It won't be added. Only small additions can be made according to what we were told a while back.
You'd better stick with an external looper like the boss one. Always been better than JJ looper.

Yeah, I totally agree, it would be so cool to have a proper well thought out looper, it's pretty much useless as it is, I use audio tracks instead but it's a bit annoying having to stop and start.
