Thank you JJ for keeping the legacy MPCs alive & in good health.

Load program from a previous OS eg;(xl_3.47) Samples load with Base Pitch at 0.0K, Manually set each sample at 44.1K samples play normal again.
Note: this did not occurred with mpc2500_128xl163.osl

"2500 seems to be bouncing & grooving more...."

After further investigation I discovered the issue is with only one program.
I since set that program's Samples BASE PITCH to 44.1K, saved as a new program.
New program reloads and play as expected.
