Still new to the MPC but I have JJOS 4.99, well that's what shows up on the start screen.
Anyway, was experiencing massive erratic controller data (ie pitch bend etc) behaviour (both on MIDI input and output). E.g. playing with pitch bend knob on a midi track while recording readily froze the whole system requiring power off/on.
I was greatly perturbed by this situation, as you could imagine.
Managed to solve it by a fluke: Switched off "soft thru." This seems to have remedied the issue. As I said, I'm new to it and I'm not sure what soft thru is even for, so I hope I don't need it set to on any time soon !!!
