Hi,
I had 8 bars total, decided to insert 2 bars with insert button after the 4th bar :

|--1--||--2--||--3--||--4--||-blanc-||-blanc-||--7--||--8--||--9--||--10--|

Then copy bar 1 & 2 and paste at 5 to become 5 & 6.
Ended up with something like this :

|--1--||--2--||--3--||--4--||blanc||--1--||-mess-||-mess-||-mess-||-mess-|

mess: overlapping notes on each other, nothing like original bars.

Did it a second time, had the same result (mess).
Did it a third time, all good no problems, a fourth time, same no problems.

Everything was well selected, no miss press, done the same way all four times.

Anyone ever experienced that?

I've never experienced it when I flicking through OS3 Version 2 the other day, not sure how often JJ checks the forum for bug reports. But personally I would report the bug to JJ by filling out the bug error form using the following link

http://www7a.biglobe.ne.jp/~mpc1000/bug/report.htm

If he can reproduce the bug your experiencing then he should be able to fix it.

Yes I will, forgot to mention parts of the original 8 bars came from another sequence.
No idea if that changes anything.

Also copying / pasting bars from another sequence often doesn't work at first try (nothing pastes).
Have to do it a second time for something to happen.

I start to understand the "unstable aspect" of OS3 people seem to talk about sometime.

What PS said.. report the bug on the JJ site.
They are pretty quick to respond (it seems like maybe JJ and a helper)
If you can reliably repeat the bug, it will usually get fixed reasonably quickly (especially compared to Akai themselves).

I did, he couldn't reproduce the bug.
Until it happens again (if it ever does) I'm gonna assume the problem was on my end.
I have to simplify a lot the way I do things because I'm used to go back and forth all the time from past experience with DAWs, and it makes the MPC extremly tedious to use and possibly expose projects to weird bugs due to a lot of copying/pasting/deleting/inserting all over the place. Even though I'm very cautious..

4/4, nothing else works correctly on OS3 V2. Which I find to be a BIG con for the OS and pretty crazy in the first place.
