The following behavior for UNDO SEQ:

right now in order to undo a recording/overdub you have to stop the sequence.
Would be a cool feature if you could undo on the fly, and if it would only undo whatever you recorded the last time you pressed REC,
i.e. You got a sequence playing in a loop, you're jamming over a beat, u like something, hit record, then back to playback mode, jam a bit, till you like something again, go into record, now, if you mess up you just go back into playback mode and hit UNDO, which will undo only the last recording, all of this on the fly.

Couple of sequences editing features requests:

- sequence reversing
- double tempo of a sequence
- half tempo of a sequence
- ends quantizing
- velocity compression
- ability to copy a sequenece from one pad to another on the same track.

don't know if anyone has said this but I would love to see JJ os for the 2000 and the 500
those are the 2 MPC's I own and I have been considering getting an XL just so I can use JJ
but it would be great if they made a version for the 2000
is that even possible ?

+1

I think it would be dope for audio tracks and the looping recorder mode.

I wonder if this feature is easy to implement?

Right now it can be done with the ERASE button, but you gotta know which notes you played....

I don't know. I would say it's nearly impossible.

Generally speaking, using the MPC without having to stop the sequencer is probably one of the most natural feature request.

But who knows? it took more than 2 years to get the multitimbrality feature and everyone was pessimistic about it.

clarification - jjos is for the mpc2500 and mpc1000 NOT the mpc2000xl

I do think it would be cool to see jjos work on an mpc500, even the mpc5000.

Oh really damn
I thought it works on the 2000xl ?
So it does not work on the 2000 or the 2000xl :(
that sucks

But yeah maybe the 500
someone tell jj
whatever happened to that guy on here who was developing a custom os for the 500?
did he ever finish it?

in PAD MODE

Image

if you have a pattern assigned to pad you can choose what track the notes are going to go to. I'd like to have the same option for CC's.

--

also different pad sets on different tracks. Right now you assign a pattern to a pad and it's the same on all tracks.

just stretching by a tempo percentage would be great... I've had cases where it would be anyway. :D

and yeah ends or starts selection in tc. +1

- ability to copy a sequenece from one pad to another on the same track.

workaround: copy, seq edit -transpose for that pad, then paste back the original. but it would be cool if paste transposed based on where the cursor is on the grid.
