hum on headphones when screen backlight is on

Hi All,

I have a MPC3000. When I turn on the backlight for the screen, I can hear a hum start on the headphone output.

I tried replacing the capacitor on the 5v line that feeds the inverter, no effect.

Should I try replacing the inverter?

Sounds like it is the inverter. Rather than get a new one I would install a new LED screen so you can disconnect the inverter completely.
