Some of the 4k's do sound different from each other. During their production some of the components were changed. I've read about people having 2 4k's side by side and the sound being different.

But is the harderware on the LE more "up to date" i.e. a 2000xl samples at the same bit depth as a 3000 but clearly sounds different is this true with the le vs the grey 3000? are the AC whatevers newer?

3000LE I feel like is made cheaper than the white one's a little bit. The buttons on my white vs. LE are different side by side the white ones the buttons feel thicker more solid the LE buttons are more thin and feel cheap.

So you have both?.. I've only heard the le's sound.. and it wasnt bad.. sounded just like my 2k classic.. but i feel like the sampler in the classic grey jawn may be better i dunno.

I had White & LE with the same beat playing in both and neither one sounded any different and there was 3 of us there and all of us said there was no difference.

Unless you got something wrong with one of your MPC's then there is no sound difference.

I know the 1000 and the 2500 sound different from the 2kxl and classic for a fact..
