more problems with mpc 60ii

cant get my zip drive to work, anyone know anything i can try ?
its set to terminate etc, but it cant find any scsi devices, grrrr

sheyat, i think both my zip drives might be parallel, but one has termination on and off button, is this on parallel's too ?

Nope, parallel's don't have terminator switches, does it have a scsi ID switch? If not let the 60 detect the ID.

You need to format a disk in it before it will recognise the scsi device. Sounds contradictory but just put a zip in and go to the format hard disk option and hit do it, then you'll know if all is good.

tried that, it wont detect the zip drive at all
i tried formatting detecting on differant id's

gonna pick up another old zip drive and try i guess

did you hook it up with the power off and power on the zip first?
