My MPC3000 randomly shutdown and crashes!:-((

Hallo!

I just bought a mpc3000 but I have this problem:

after 20/30 mins since I turned it on,and completely randomly I have very short crashes:it's like if it shuts down by itself and then restart again.

Then it's able to work for,say,another half an hour without troubles and then crashes again.

Did anyone of you xperience the same trouble with it and could tell me how can I fix it?

May it depend by the kind of Simms installed? Or by the inner powerbox?

Sounds like the power supply is failing due to thermal issues after power on.

Try placing a desk fan at the back of your MPC3000 with the wind direction blowing over the heat exhaust vents.

If this minimises the shut down problem then you have located a common fault that happens with the power supply in some of these machines.

Take it to a service centre for more specialised assistance.
