That's the omron part number. They're only $.31 if you order 50 or more. I ordered and used those on the last 3000 I serviced. They're the same and perform well

They have 4 pins ?. Original is 2.. How do you solder that ?.

I ordered the 688-SKQKAKD010 from mouser.

But the switches I received had longer push-button. So this won't fit.

Damn that sucks.

Will contact them and see if i can get new ones.

The B3F-6022 has two leads, not four.

If you are even in doubt check the datasheet which is usually listed on the ordering page at the supplier you are purchasing the parts from.

I am not sure of the OP's confusion regarding the tact switches. Unless he was sent the wrong parts initially, the Digikey part number he posted the link for is for the Omron B3F-6022.

Yeah Rude, those are definitely 2 pin. I dont know why you got the large push button with 4 pin. Then again I dont know what item that part number is for. If you go to mouser just search B3F-6022 or this is the actual mouser part number 653-B3F-60223.

Hm. Alright, But I guess the 688-SKQKAKD010 will work.
I contacted them, They sent me the wrong product.

on the 60 ALL switches are the same. but watch out, the switches for the 60 are not the same as the switches for the 3000.

the 60 (and all other mpc's i know (4000!???!)) have four-legged switches, the 3000 has switches with only 2 legs to solder in.

til now i replaced switches in a 60, 500, 2000xl and 2500, and i used

ALPS SKHHAKA010

for all of them.

work like butter ;)

I'm waiting on my 3000LE to arrive and I want to order all the tact switches. Does anyone know exactly how many tact switches (6x6x5, 12x12x5) are needed on the MPC3000?
Counting the buttons on it doesn't mean shit. On the 2000XL, it has a mixture of tact switch sizes so can't just count the buttons.
Thanks.

There are 57 tact switches on the MPC3000. The replacements are Omron #B3F-6022 at $0.31 a piece / $17.67 total cost at Mouser.

hi,
if you want the 'light-touch' tacts try OMRON B3F6020 Tactile Switch, B3F Series, Top Actuated, Through Hole, Round Button, 100 gf, 50mA at 24VDC

JPN - Japan made vs 6022 which are from China.

Ignore the stock photos...they are through-hole...two pin/legs as the originally but they require less force and last longer.

Higher quality.
