After I pay some debt off, I'm looking for another 3000LE....love these machines. Just think, one day they will be gone, so grab the mint ones and take care of them fellas!!!

Guys can you give us the following information so I can update the list in the OP.

LE#, Voltage, Location, Operating System, Storage Type and some background about how/ where you got the machine. And more pics too of course! Cheers.

Genesis I see 3 MPC3000's, 3 MPC3000LE's and an SP1200 if I'm not mistaken. Can you explain what is going on there, is this just a prized collection or are you a user/trader?? I know you have a couple of MPC60's too as you posted in the 'post your 60' thread. Also does your MPC3000LE have a floppy drive or card-reader?

Weird, I didn't sell mine, still use my #748 Everyday. Genesis, would you mind getting a pic of your friends with same number? Would be a shame if one of ours isn't authentic.

Has to be a mistake reading his friend's plate number, but will be very interesting if it is a fake, or factory mistake.

We want closeup photos of the plates in question, if they are really the same number.

It's prolly not 748 didn't really look at it that well lol

The thing is that you might not necessarily know if it is a fake.

Akai did sell the black LE faceplates as an upgrade option for normal MPC3000s, it could be one of those with a fake gold plate, and you might not even realise.

I think that you must have the number wrong.
