send midi clock from cubse to midi input 2 on the 60, if you have the 3.10 OS you can use MTC, I am not sure if the old OS supports MTC.

does the mpc automatically send out midi timecode ? i dont have my manual with me so i cant check atm just curious..

the 60 can't send MTC, but end Midi clock. It can receive timecode though.
You need to set it in the midi / sync screen as to what output it goes out.
