I Finally done it.

find a pice of software called "VMware Workstation" and install 98 in it.
it actually says this in the MPCeditor manual, but it's poorly elaborated...

It will make it able to run a virtual 98 machine inside XP.
then, share your Zip Drive inside the virtual 98 machine...

Now you will be able to read and write in XP from and to the MPC3000 formatted zip in your zipdrive (when VMware is running 98).

THANK GOD for this software.....
now you dot have to reboot to 98 just to send some samples you chopped up on the PC to your MPC...

anyone who has had this problem and found it impossible to find a solution anywhere and only got smartass "seek and you will find" answers...knock yourself out

The instructions for the MPCEditor had that same answer.

Another solution:
MPC Editor. It now writes a new disk format that can be read/written natively by XP and MPC3000.

yo mpc3000, is there a new editor update? the format, does it work in an expanded 60, or do you want me to check it out?
