IB-CRT Compatible VGA Monitors

Confirmed the MPC3000 to work on the Seiki 40" LED TV/monitor model #SE40FY27A...


Also the Sanyo Vizon 30" (?) LCD TV/monitor model #LCD-30CA1Z. The screen keeps flashing sporadically on and off every 10 - 15 seconds. I don't know if it's just mine that does this or just this specific model does it.

MPC60's don't have a VGA monitor output option.
Only the MPC3000 & 3000LE can do this with the installed VGA card.

Correct.... But what i was trying to ask,,, if one has pulled the vga card from the 3000 and put this complete in the 60,,, from what I saw from Google pics the connectors could fit one on one.

Vga board working fine with mpc60 mk2 ( the same pinout like mpc3000)
With mpc60 mk1 you need to use diferent pinout .

Yep, I came to the same conclusion and can confirm that the ib-crt works in the 60mkii. Same screen! In fact, very similar samplers all around! I hope that inspires a pcb-skilled member to make some reissues! It took me years to find the ones I have! It'd be really great if it were compatible with a wider range of monitors too! If you use the floppy or internal scsi, you can use the external scsi slot to fit the vga, just use one screw hole to mount. Plenty of room inside for the board. Viewsonic even makes a compatible screen that is the same beige as the mpc!

Also...I havent tried yet, but Id assume that the 60mk1 would work too? Guts are the same! I know people fit the 60mkii/3000 LED in a 60 with an adapter plate!

Man, it's been a while since I've been on these forums. Facebook kind of took over for this kind of stuff. Anyways.. what's up guys. Just throwing this out there.. If anyone needs a compatible monitor for your IB-CRT expansion, I have some flat panel monitors of various sizes available that I personally tested on my own MPC 3000. I'm willing to sell them for $60 + shipping. I'm in San Diego if you'd rather meet up in person. I don't come on here much... but feel free to reply to this thread if you're interested.
