Thinking about picking one of these up. Anyone buy one themselves? Can you post a pic of it in action? Is installation that easy? Does it come with installation instructions? TIA!

Above backlight supplied to forum member APH.

My personal MPC3000LE.

Both backlights are from eBay seller saint_baz AKA forum member MisterWhite. He is based in the UK, but ships worldwide.

Highly recommended.

Removing the MPC3000 screen can be fiddly, but once thats done its a piece ok cake. If you've got big clumsy hands, let someone else do it. I think it came with basic instructions, but the video below will see you good with the MPC3000 install.

Thank you! I was looking at the same eBay seller and I did think that he was a member here as well. Process doesn't seem too bad. Might have to jump on one of these.

Anyone know if these backlights are still for sale? I can't see one of these on ebay...,

I've sen a few on eBay from Croatia and Hong Kong. If I had to chose one, it would be the Hong Kong one. It looks like a better build, different colors plus a cable.
