MPC 60 AS SLAVE TO MPC 3000

Tried some different settings on the machine and I can't get it to work any help yawlll???

Set MIDI clock out on the MPC3000.
Connect one end of a MIDI cable to what ever output you just choose to send clock out of on the 3000 and the other end of the cable to a MIDI input on the 60.
Go to the sync page , turn on MIDI clock sync and select the port you just attached the MIDI cable to.
That' should be it.
