I need help to identified a transistor from the 60mk2 lcd

Can someone please help me to identified the number or the value of this transistor, this is the lcd screen of a 60 mk2, thanks

I had a look in the service manual/schematics, and it doesn't include details of the individual parts on the LCD PCB, as it is supplied by a different company, and referenced in the MPC documentation as the LCD being a whole/single part.

Hopefully someone else can help you out.

I can't even read what the markings are on the part itself, they are too small for me to see with my poor eyesight, might be able to bring home a magnifying glass from work tomorrow and have a close look.

Thanks, the only thing that can be seen right now because the transistor is cooked is an R in the top of the body and in the pbc section = cbe for the pins and a TR

It only has two letters on it, B R.

There is a dot to the left of B, at the bottom, a dot between the B and R, in the middle, and two dots to the right of the R, at the top, don't know what the dots mean.

You can put in a 557C PNP Transistor.
