mpc 3000 sample loading issue

I am trying to load a file(kick sample)to the mpc 3000 and it says :

"if this is an mpc 60 file must have 1/3 more free mem than file size"(and this samples are from mpc 60)

How I could convert this file to make it possible to load/work in the mpc 3000.

files are wave in 16 bit and 44.1

Use a suitable sample editor to convert it. They don't all accommodate mpc snd files but I believe I saw Lampdog say Awave does it.

However if you don't need to convert lots of files regularly, try using the free app 'snd2wav' . It works very well.

I will have a look for the download for you and report back


edit: Download this and just drag your wave file onto the icon and a corresponding snd file will appear that should be compatible with mpc3000.

Meantime I found the answer I need to convert SND format:

I forgot to mention I have newest Macbook.
and Pc with windows 7
but I would prefer prog for mac
