And she's fixed! The resistor has been changed and she's up and rocking… Sounds clean and delicious.
Oh the floppy drive has been revived as well.
Just gonna work on whitening the buttons and she should be looking like she did when I got her in 1990 :o

i cant seem to find the R69 resistor on a 60 MARK 1 from a friend of mine. the display shows big black blocks/lines from the top to the bottom. the unit itself seems to work normal. i can see the cursor on the display, but nothing else besides garbage is shown on the display. any ideas? where is R69 or similar on the MK1 motherboard/syncboard?

I dont know.. the displays are different i guess. good luck.. it's always great to revive old stuff like that and keep them alive for another 25 years.
