Sorry if this was already discussed. Thinking of adding a SCSI board to my MPC 60. Is the data saved and loaded in terms of a 3.5 inch disk format with 720kb or can I save and load like I would on USB drive without restrictions?

I'm just thinking of the HxC Floppy procedure and how data are saved and loaded and thats not what I'm looking for.

it's a hard drive that get's connected.... not a floppy emulator like the HXC. You will have (ideally) several partitions on the drive and in each of them you have several megs to save files. The problem is you will not have the ability to put anything in folders...

no, data is saved on partitions. for example on a 100mb zip disk. you format it to partitions A-Z so you have 26 partitions with about 3760 KB each. so you can save your ram 26 times, this is the way i prefer. one project on one zip partition. so you dont have to mess with missing files or something like that. thats my method. 1 project in one partition, so, 26 projects per disk.
